A few weeks ago I decided to stop shaving. People keep asking me why, and I honestly do not have an answer. It probably stems from laziness and continues because of curiosity and a lack of shame. As sad as this beard might look, this is the best product my face has been able to put forward in regards to facial hair.
The first thing you might notice is the varying colors. It looks like an amazing technicolor dream beard. The beard part is pretty dark, but the mustache continues to be blonde. As you can tell in this picture, I have pretty dark hair everywhere else. I am 25% Norwegian, so I guess that’s what you are seeing in the mustache.
Also, I’ve been trying to be patient with the beard actually meeting the mustache. It doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. I should post to CraigsList about this missed connection. I think it’s time to give up on that endeavor and just resign to the fact that they will remain two separate entities.
Finally, there is some talk that I should buy some Just For Men and dye my mustache to match the beard in color. That seems like cheating, so I’m going to keep waiting it out. Besides, it appears to match the chair* I’m sitting in.
* A chair that we found abandoned on the side of the street.
You have to have a cause or purpose for the beard otherwise your just a bum!
Grow it out a bit more and throw on some thick frame retro sunglasses. You’d have the whole Joaquin Phoenix look going for you.
